The Readiness Laboratory is led by two consultants who have spent decades inside the kinds of organizations we now help. We’ve managed the rollouts, navigated the resistance, and rebuilt the teams. The frameworks we teach come from the work itself.
Transformation Strategist & Change Practitioner
Sandra Dobson helps leaders and teams turn ambitious transformational change into delivered outcomes — with more clarity, discipline, and momentum. With more than 25 years across large-scale health systems, government entities, and major private-sector organizations, she has built her career at the intersection of transformational change and delivery: leading enterprise-wide implementations, standing up PMOs, and driving the readiness that decides whether change actually takes hold.
What defines Sandra most isn’t the programs she’s led — it’s how she gets them to land. She works in the place where strategy meets reality, reading what a team actually needs versus what it says it needs, and holding the line on the clarity, accountability, and trust that transformation depends on. As a certified PROSCI change practitioner, she brings rigor to readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption — but her real craft is building the conditions, capability, and trust that let teams deliver under pressure.
Sandra believes transformation doesn’t succeed on the strength of a strategy deck. It succeeds when people are aligned around a shared outcome, when ownership is clear, and when teams are genuinely set up to do the work being asked of them.
Through The Readiness Laboratory, Sandra co-developed the Four Readiness Zones — one of the diagnostic frameworks that anchor the firm’s practice. She works with leaders responsible for outcomes that depend on people doing things differently, and who know that strategy alone won’t get them there.
